An Homage to a Classic with a Unique Technological Approach

Created as an homage to the legendary "Stool 60," this piece explores the potential of Japanese Hinoki (Japanese Cypress). While coniferous trees like Hinoki typically present challenges in terms of strength compared to hardwoods, we have carefully developed a structural approach that ensures durability while highlighting the wood's inherent beauty. The result is a stool that exudes a gentle warmth and a soft texture distinct from traditional birch models.
